The Caucasus Office of Transnational Crime and Corruption Center (TraCCC CO) held a conference on: "Transnational Crime and Corruption in Georgia". At the conference, grantees of TraCCC CO presented the results of their research on corruption in various sectors of Georgian society including the economy, policy arena, and educational system. The presentations included recommendations for combating corruption in these sectors.
Attendees included representatives from governmental, nongovernmental, and international organizations in Georgia and members of the media. The conference was held on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Hotel "Sympatia" on 4, 1st Alley Gagarin str.
